On January 4, 2018, a massive winter storm struck the Northeast United States.

JetTip monitors flights at major US and Canadian airports for unusual arrivals and departures; here are the high priority alerts we issued for weather diversions.

An "unusual" flight means the airline + type is noteworthy at said airport. For example, if a Delta 737 diverted to an airport that sees lots of Delta 737s, we don't issue an alet.

Flights with an asterisk (*) didn't trigger an alert, but should have. We're reviewing those cases to do a better job next time. If there are any missing from this list that should be included, shoot us an email or tweet.
