N904SY departs MSP on the first revenue flight of a Sun Country 737-900ER on September 26, 2025.
Sun Country Airlines is adding five former Oman Air 737-900ERs to their fleet, N901SY - N905SY, starting with N904SY, which made its first revenue flight on September 26, 2025, operating on SCX603, MSP-PHX.
Typically our avgeek alerts don't make a distinction between -800s and -900s, but we'll be making an exception in the near-term for these, as we expect some excitement from our subscribers in seeing the first new type to be added to Sun Country's fleet in quite a while.
